Badgie collects the performance data that matters in each sport and puts it on the player's profile: TrackMan sessions and a handicap refreshed every morning from the Spanish Golf Federation (RFEG) in golf; minutes, goals, assists and cards in football; weekly load and acute:chronic ratio from Strava in endurance sports; and weekly federation rankings in tennis. For every sport it adds drills with personal bests, session intensity, reports and a training diary.
What makes performance data useful
A club does not need more numbers. It needs numbers it can trust that arrive on their own. When choosing a tool, look at three things: where the data comes from (imported from the source or typed in?), whether it is tied to each player's profile, and whether it can be compared across players and over time. Badgie follows a simple principle: each sport has its own source of truth, and the platform pulls it in instead of asking the coach to copy it.
Golf: TrackMan, handicap, scorecards and swing
Golf is the sport with the most data in Badgie. It all lives in Badgie Golf.
TrackMan
TrackMan sessions can be imported in several ways: through the connected account, with automatic hourly import for linked players, by pasting report links, or from a photo or PDF of any launch monitor (TrackMan, Foresight or FlightScope) read by AI. With that data the club gets:
- A player profile with sessions, videos, progress, gapping and 3D trajectories.
- A ranking with PDF export, an academy view and comparisons.
- Challenges for 2 to 4 players by metric, tests and official TrackMan benchmarks.
- The student's "measured bag" in their app.
There is a detailed article in Spanish: TrackMan in Badgie.
Daily RFEG handicap
Every morning Badgie refreshes the official handicap of every licensed student. The club sees how the squad's handicap evolves, who moved, official RFEG tournaments and comparisons of 2 to 4 players. In Spanish: daily RFEG handicap for golf schools.
Scorecards and game stats
A hole-by-hole live scorecard the coach can follow almost in real time, AI scanning of paper scorecards, attestation of handicap-qualifying rounds and import from Garmin. From there come greens, putts, cumulative score to par, shot dispersion per hole and Strokes Gained compared with the player's handicap.
A measured swing
AI swing analysis returns key moments, prioritised faults, tempo and, when body-pose measurement is available, the measured skeleton over the video. In Spanish: AI swing analysis.
Football: match stats that are not made up
In football, data is born in the match. Badgie captures it three ways: the live match from the bench, the paper match sheet read by AI, and federation sync (the Spanish regional federations RFFM, FFCV and RFAF) or Football ISM match reports. When data arrives from several sources, the federation wins, then the paper sheet, then what was recorded in Badgie.
On that basis, player stats cover call-ups, matches played, starts, substitute appearances, minutes, goals, assists, goals plus assists and cards, by team and season. When minutes are unknown Badgie shows "—", never 0, and flags matches without a match sheet. That way the director knows which figure is reliable and which is missing.
On top of that:
- Formations by minute: the starting system and every change of shape with its minute, plus goal context (inside or outside the box, header). In Spanish: formations by minute and goal context.
- League table, streak and next opponent, and a weekend digest with big wins, clean sheets, braces and streaks.
- FIFA-style attributes: 39 attributes from 1 to 99 with an overall rating and radar, per season.
The whole module is on Badgie for football.
Endurance sports: Strava and Garmin
Athletes connect their Strava account from the app or the web, and the club sees:
- Weekly load and the acute:chronic workload ratio (ACWR).
- Alerts, groups and leaderboards.
- Heatmap, history and athlete comparisons.
- An AI coach and per-athlete profiles.
It works for any activity Strava records. In golf, rounds can also be imported from Garmin.
Tennis, CrossFit and more
- Tennis: with the player's licence, Badgie pulls the federation ranking (national, regional, provincial, club and age category) and points, with their evolution, synced every week.
- CrossFit boxes: the AimHarder integration provides box analytics (rates, fees, payment methods, churn and occupancy), and the workout of the day with personal bests.
Data common to every sport
Beyond external sources, Badgie measures what happens in training:
- Drills with personal bests: every attempt is recorded, with best mark, progress and a leaderboard per drill.
- Session intensity and time: planned and actual intensity from 1 to 10, plus total, actual and specific time.
- [Sport reports](https://www.badgie.com/sport-reports) with the club's own scales and an evaluation matrix.
- Training diary with analytics on response rate, participation and answer distribution.
- Attendance and dropout risk, with AI that spots who is starting to skip sessions.
Achievements can also be turned into digital badges to keep motivation high.

FAQ
Do I have to type in TrackMan or handicap data?
No. TrackMan is imported through the connected account, automatically every hour for linked players, by link, or by AI reading a photo or PDF of the monitor. The RFEG handicap refreshes on its own every morning.
Where do my football players' minutes and goals come from?
From the live match, the AI-read paper match sheet, or the federation and Football ISM. If a match is missing data, Badgie says so instead of filling it with zeros.
Is Badgie useful if my sport is neither golf nor football?
Yes. Drills with personal bests, session intensity, reports, the diary and attendance work for any sport, and Strava covers endurance sports.
Can I ask about this data in plain language?
Yes, Badgie's AI agent reads this club data. More at Badgie Agents, and guides in the wiki.
