Activ8 Self Defence in Lytham St. Anne's has been established for over 20 years. It provides Jujitsu, self-defence and anti-bullying workshops across Lancashire. Its martial arts and self-defence classes are offered to adults, teenagers and children. It also offers after-school clubs and children's parties.
Instructors complete 250 hours of practical teaching before taking their own class. They receive regular First Aid and Health and Safety training, hold valid indemnity insurance and are trained in current safeguarding legislation.
Lancaster classes run on Mondays from 5–6 pm for children and 6–7 pm for adults and teenagers. Saturday Lancaster classes run from 10–11 am for children and 11 am–noon for adults and teenagers. The new Lancaster venue is at the 5th Lancaster Scout Group. Children's classes in Heysham take place at St. James' Centre on Tuesdays from 6–7:30 pm.
Great Eccleston classes take place at the Scout Hut on Hall Lane. These classes depend on attendance numbers and require advance confirmation. Enquiries can be submitted through the website contact form.
