Master Cook Martial Arts teaches traditional ITF Taekwon-Do in East Boldon. Training includes self defence, competition training and fitness. Instructors regularly attend International Instructors Courses.
Mixed classes are for ages six and above and include techniques, patterns, kicking drills, fitness, self-defence and controlled sparring. Children's classes cater for ages four to twelve. Higher grade classes are for first degree and above.
Children aged four to seven train on Tuesdays from 18:00 to 18:45, and those aged eight to twelve train on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 19:45. Mixed classes run on Thursdays from 18:30 to 19:30. Higher grade classes run on Saturdays from 12:00 to 13:00.
The Boldon location is at St George Church, Front Street, East Boldon, NE36 0SW. The Gateshead location is at 3D Health & Fitness, Cardinal Hume, NE9 6RZ. The first taster class is free.
